At the Bioinformatics, Intelligent Computer Systems, and Educational Technology Research Group of the University of Salamanca (hereinafter BISITE-USAL), we are particularly concerned with ensuring the confidentiality and security of the data provided by users.

If you are receiving this message, it is because at some point you requested information about one of the activities organized by BISITE-USAL or have participated in them.

In compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679 EU 27/2016 regarding the protection of natural persons in relation to the processing of personal data, BISITE-USAL needs you to be aware of the personal data we hold and to consent to its processing.

In accordance with the provisions of the Personal Data Protection Regulation, we inform you that:

  • A- The data you provide will be incorporated into files under the responsibility of BISITE-USAL with CIF: Q3718001E.
  • B- BISITE-USAL guarantees the confidentiality of all data provided by its users. In addition to the minimum requirements set by legislation, data collection and processing are carried out under appropriate security levels to prevent loss or manipulation by third parties.
  • C- All users of BISITE-USAL portals have the right to access, rectify, or delete their data, limit or oppose its processing, portability, and withdrawal of consent given regarding their data. At the end of the processes, data will be deleted, and only those necessary for historical, statistical, or scientific purposes will be retained, in accordance with specific legislation.

To comply with this regulation, you must confirm whether you wish to continue receiving information about the activities organized by BISITE-USAL, as we need your consent. If not, you will stop receiving this information.

If you change your mind in the future, simply contact BISITE-USAL through one of the provided channels, and we will proceed with the cancellation.

Ethical Code

The use of services and content from BISITE-USAL portals is subject to current legislation and the principles of good faith and public order, especially national and international norms regarding the protection of human rights.

The user will not use BISITE-USAL portals to transmit, communicate, or spread, in any way, illegal, defamatory, vulgar opinions, or any other content that could harm the sensitivity of others or offend the values or dignity of a person.

Any use of the portals for illegal purposes or in a manner that harms, impedes, damages, and/or overloads the normal functioning of the portal, or directly or indirectly harms the portal or any third party, is prohibited.

BISITE-USAL reserves the right, without prior notice, to suspend the service if the user's conduct is contrary to this Ethical Code.
